Applying to our sixth form

Our students select 3 or 4A Level or Vocational Courses with an aim to completing these over 2 years. The end of year 12 consists of formal internal exams that are used to predict final grades and students are expected to pass those in order to move into Year 13.

The exception to this is the Bridge course which is aimed at strengthening GCSE English and Maths together with ASDAN, BTEC Sport and Vocational Business Studies. Crucial to the success of this programme is the compulsory Work Experience that, if chosen well, enhances the student’s chances of progression.
